Its been a little while

I've been busy with my daughter's arrival and a temporary promotion at my work to send out some updates. So here some are... No pics of updates this time... sorry...

I've gotten some pages from Rockstar Savior from Tyreece and to be honest with you, I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH THEM! TYREECE IS AWESOME! Im excited for the update that I will receive from him tomorrow. With that being sad, I also decided to hire him for the Northstar Horror OGN for the main story. Hope to provide a pin up sometime next week for that. Also, i hope to give some small sneek peaks in Rockstar Savior and other projects.

Rockstar Designs

These are most of the supporting characters in the Rockstar Savior. This are the initial sketches that Tyreece gave me and that were approved, and I ended up combining the sketches in photoshop and decided that i wanted to post this online. There is one important character that is missing from the supporting cast, which is Naoko, who is the #1 superfan of the band White Winger and specifically Ryo, our main character. She was not included due to the fact that her sketch hasnt been approved yet. Take a look at the charcters, I can feel the story project coming along. Tyreece is starting the sequential pages and excited to show some previews. Stay tuned!

Preview of the Preview

This is a preview of the cover of the first issue of Rockstar Savior, in black ahd white for the preview book that will be released later this year before issue #1. The first issue sequential pages are currently in the thumbnail stages, getting worked on as we speak. The actual cover is in color, and completed. Im ready to start to ship this beautiful project to submissions, its a project that I honestly thought would take years to be developed but when I got Tyreece's portfolio, it was a match made in heaven. Not Suitable for Geeks

This is one of the pages from the upcoming comic book Not Suitable for Geeks, which is a comic strip book with works from B Smith (yours trully) and the odd thinker Chad Lecy. The book will include the first season of Im a Geek comic strips, Not Suitable for Adults comic strip from Chad Lecy, and a collaboration short that deals with a Zombie Halloween! Nuff Said! The book should be due out sometime before Fallcon (Twin Cities Comic Convention), and will provide previews of the Zombie Halloween sometime soon. Keep you posted...

Im finished with issue 1 of Rockstar Savior and im getting the itch to get a little devious and create some havoc. I've got a couple stories that i've got that im thinking about scripting. Keep posted.

cHad Hates Dillon Thomson... and me?

This strip was done over 4 years ago, but makes me think of the current comic strip, Im a Geek. This was done when we worked together at a hardware store ill refer to as GAYnards. We were cool friends, laughed and joked all the time, but i always sensed jealousy because of my stunning looks. So the next thing i knew, i wounded up in his stetches. I was honored, but saddened by his jealousy. But what leads me to today is the fact we were able to team up after all of these years to create the insanity that is Im a Geek.
