APAD: Italia

This story is based off my comic, APAD, which stands for Agency of Paranormal Activities and Defence. This is a small mini comic for anthology purposes. I have taken a break from the initial mini series, which is set in London and focuses on Evolved Werewolves to focus on other projects. But I do love the characters of APAD so I had to create a small story for them to come alive... Here you go!

Variant Covers for Slaughterhouse

This cover is by Allen Bynes, looks very Templesmith-esk. Loving it!

This cover is from Carl Yonder, who I could not be more thankful to work with.

Got some news, we are close to signing Oceano Ransford to join the team as a letter/interior designer. Chris Binns (artist/co-creator of Slaughterhouse) has completed the first five pages, and looks amazing! It reminds me of an old B-horror movie, but with a modern slasher story.

Due to be released in 2012. (C) Bobby Smith/Chris Binns

Space Slugs

This is a beautiful 3 page story featuring the art of the wonderfully talented (and friend) Carl Yonder! We did this story for the upcoming Im a Geek Anthology, and we like the results so much, it has started another project, a more long term sci-fi romance story that we are hoping to start working on (slowly) in the next month or so. Im working on developing the story, but its going to kick ass!

Sneak Peak of The Explorers

This is one of the sneak peaks into the Explorers: Galactic Voyage due to be released in 2012. Art by the wonderful, Daniel Cuchacovich

Finally Posting!

Ok, I know that we have been lazy in posting the news from Springcon and whats been going on since. We have been working hard on some very new projects and trying to market Parallel Dilemma and Rockstar Savior. What are the new projects that we are working on? We’re not going to spoil the surprise, but we will be having videos, more podcast, and more updates, I swear.

As you can see, we do have Parallel Dilemma #1, Rockstar Savior #1 and Im a Geek Comic Strip Volume 1 is now available and you can purchase our books through our online store and through select Twin Cities comic book stores at the moment…

Cons

Im still as excited to attend Springcon this year, as I was to attend my first con as a creator last year. I will be bringing some fun goodies to my table! We will be selling some 215 Ink titles (if you dont know, 215 Ink publishes my title Parallel Dilemma) and releasing some of the first print titles of Im a Geek Entertainment. We will be releasing the full first issue of Rockstar Savior #1 in print for the first time ever. I might have a secret or two of more special releases by then, so come to the State Fair Grounds in Saint Paul, MN to see me, and other huge names in the business. Later

Finally Updating

That awesome image is of Smitty and Lee of the Im a Geek Comic Strip. The cover is by Kelly Brown for the upcoming anthology book published by my Im a Geek Entertainment. I've been busy updating the many sites that I'm running so I will have to do alot of updates.

First, Parallel Dilemma is now a title of 215 Ink. Im a Geek Entertainment is still running the merchandising aspect of Parallel Dilemma, but now the publishing will be run by 215 Ink (you guys are awesome!)

Rockstar Savior #1 is now avaiable for digital downloads at WOWIO (www.wowio.com) or through Graphic.ly. Im a Geek Entertainment will be releasing a print copy of the book in May, in time for the Springcon Convention (YES, IM GOING).

Im a Geek Comic Strip is rolling, and will be taking some awesome turns this year. I also got a secret or three that we are working on behind the scenes to bring smiles to all Im a Geek fans.

I'm working on several other projects that include Temptress Society, APAD, Slaughterhouse, etc.

I'm also the E.I.C. at Geeky Universe (www.geekyuniverse.com) with Rebecca Smith. It's a news site devoted to providing news for the geeky person (news such as technology, gadgets, comics, movies, etc.)

Got alot more news, but I want to give it up slowly to you, leave you in wanting more.
Til later...
